18th - 23rd August

18th Saturday:
i got up at 8 30 today, After breakfast i got ready to leave as i was traveling to chicago today. I had to request tabish bhai to accompany me as azeem didnt agree to come and nauman said that he was going to coney island hospital. Later nauman also accompanied. I was ready to leave at 1030 and wanted to leave at 11 but tabish bhai delayed. We left at 115. We reached the airport at 330. I was told that i wont be able to catch the flight. Original flight time was 425. Then i tried to reschedule it but i came to know that original flight was delayed till 630!! It left at 700 and i reached chicago at 945. The bus to merrillville left at 915 and i could reach the terminal in time, so i i had to wait till 11 to get the next bus. I reach hammond where azeem uncle picked me up. We reached home at 130. I had dinner and went to sleep at about 2.30

19th, Sunday:
I got up at 10 and after breakfast i started study. At 3, we had lunch, At 930 we had dinner. And i studied till 130 today.
I started psychiatry today. I missed the BRS beh science in NY. So i had to start with kaplan psychiatry. Then i found the BRS on internet and studied from there..

20th, Monday:
I got up at 9 and started study after the breakfast. At 230 we had lunch and dinner at 10. Today i studied till 445.
I finished psychiatry and biostats

21st, Tuesday:
I got up at 930 and started study at 10. It was last day before exam. I did psychiatry mcqs and then psychitry ccs. After lunch i did ccs from UW. At night i watched derma pics and went to sleep at 1230.

22nd, Wednesday:
EXAM DAY!! i woke up at 515. After fajr i studied a bit. After breakfast, i left for center at 730 and reached there around 8. Exam started at 810!! Time flew fast and it was over at 4. I dont know how i did. I just used my sense, i just hope that luck is gonna favor me. I was back at 5. I had 1 hour rest, then i offered asr and started ccs practice. I studied till 1230 and went to sleep.

23rd, Thursday:
i got up at 545 and saw some ccs cases after namaz. Today aunty took me to test center at 8. I started the exam at 820 and was free at 4. MCQs gave better feeling today. On both days i had trouble completing the blocks and in all blocks except 2, i replied last question without reading the stem. In ccs, i messed up in 3 cases but did better in later 6. Its all upto Allah now. Just when i finished exam, there was a thunder storm. Uncle came to pick me up at 445. We went to garage and picked sofia's car. I drove uncle's mercedes! it was the first time that i drove in US. It went fine for me. At home, i kept aalia busy till maghrib. There was no light for 5 hours today! After esha i surfed the net, replied to mariam's mails and went to sleep at 3!!

17th August

Friday:
i got up at 930 today and after breakfast i started study at 1030. At 1 we went for juma. Then we had lunch. Then i went to bank to deposit money. And then i studied till maghrib. After dinner and namaz i did pakcing. After esha i studied till 2 and went to sleep early today.
Today i finished G&O Mcqs, CCS cases and studied dermatology.

16th Aug

Thursday:
i got up at 930 and started study at 1030. At 3 we had lunch. After maghrib we had dinner. After esha i studied till 3 and then wrote an email to mariam before going to sleep.
Today i finished g&o and started it mcqs.

15th Aug

Wednesday:
i got up at 845. After breakfast i checked my mail, found mariam's reply there, and sent her a short reply. started study at 10. At 330 we had lunch. Then i went to get the air cut. Then i started study again. After maghrib we had dinner. Then i offered esha and did recitation. Today i studied till 315 and went to sleep at 345 after having a look at my mails
Today i finished Obs and started gynae, its been a better day overall

14th Aug

Tuesday:
i got up at 915. After breakfast i chatted for a while with ami and then started study. At 12 azeem came over, brought my stuff. I entertained him, examined his one case and had lunch at 3. he left at 4. I had rest 430-6. Then i started study again after a teasing gap. After maghrib we had dinner. And after esha i studied till 315.
Today i ve been studying obs.
It was 14th Aug today!

13th Aug

Monday:
I got up at 945 and started the study at 1030. At 230 we had lunch and i offered namaz. At 7 i had bath and offered asr. At about 1030, we had dinner, then i offered esha and did recitation. At 120, i brought the coffee and studied till 345
Today tabish bhai got done with his exam.
I finish surgery MCQS and CCS and started G&O.

12th Aug

Sunday:
i got up at 11. After breakfast i started study. At 3 we had lunch (nauman was off to long island today). At about 4 i logged in to see if i had any mail from azim (who was travelling to US today). I saw mariam online and sent her a hello. That led to our first chat, it was good, very good. Just before esha we had dinner. I studied till 230 and fell asleep while studying. At about 5, i received azim's call that he reached safely.
Today i finished surgery and started surgery mcqs and ccs

11th August

Saturday:
I got up at 11 today, and after the breakfast i checked my mail. Mariam had sent the reply, i replied about half of her mail and got back to studies. Ay 3 i had lunch and said zuhr. I had some rest 430-6. Tabish bhai came back after first day of his exam at that time and i discussed some of his exam mcqs. Then i offered asr. After maghrib we had dinner. After esha and recitation, we went out for walk. I got money from the bank on the way. Then we had a slice of pizza and came back. At 230 i was feeling too sleepy. I completed the reply to mariam's mail and went to sleep.
Today i did most of surgery, not finished yet though. I hope i'll do better tomorrow

10th Aug

Friday:
I got up at 11 and started the mcqs after the breakfast. At 1 we went for juma prayer in intense rain. After juma we had lunch. After maghrib we had dinner and after esha i studied till 3.
Today i finished paeds MCQs n CCS and started surgery. Towards the end of day i became lazy. I hope it wont happen again till exam.

9th Aug

Thursday:
I got up at 11 and after breakfast i started study at 12. At 3 we had lunch. Then i agan studied till maghrib. Then we had dinner. After esha and recitation i went out with nauman for a 15 min walk. Then i studied till 330 and went to sleep after fajar
Today i finished the left over topics of paeds and started paeds MCQs

8th Aug

Wednesday:
I woke up at 950 and had breakfast with apple. I had a good start to the day, got mariam's email and replied her back. I studied till 3, then i had lunch and prayer break. Then i studied till maghrib with a break for asr in between. Then we had dinner. After esha i started study and kept going till 330. then i checked my mails and went to sleep at 445 after offering fajr.

Today i finshed neurology, did its mcqs and started paeds. Study is getting better, hopefully it will continue

7th Aug

Tuesday:
I woke up at 1030 and started study at 11. At 230 we had lunch, i had rest 3-5, and then back to studies. After maghrib, we had dinner. And i continued study till 230 after esha. At that time, i fell asleep with book in hand.
Today i finished neurology and started neurology MCQs

6th Aug

Monday:
I woke up at 1030 and had breakfast. At about 12 i started study, had lunch at 3, had bath and said namaz. Then again study.. After maghrib i had dinner. At about 10 nauman came back, i disucssed his cases with him. Then i said esha, did recitation and studied till 3, went to sleep at 330.

Today nauman got done with his step 3

5th Aug

Sunday
I woke up at 11 today and after breakfast i started study. At 230 i started preparind lunch, then tabish bhai took over and i went out to bring onion and tomatos. At 415 we had lunch. From 6-10 i helped nauman i preparing for CCS. After dinner esha and recitation i studied till 2.
I finished resp today and started neuro, Resp qs r still left.
Today i got call from fsd; uncle, abbu, aunty, ammi, anam, ahmad and maryam taled to me..!

4th Aug

Saturday:
I got up at 11. There was nobody at home, nauman went for his exam and tabish bhai went to kashif bhai. So i couldnt study well during the day. After maghrib i brought the pita bread and yogurt. Then we had dinner. After esha i studied till 230
Nauman appeared in 1st day of his exam today.

1st - 3rd Aug

Wed, Thu, Fri:
I have been getting up at 10-1030. After the breakfast and checking mail and for seat availibilty in new york, i started study. At about 3, i had lunch and offered zuhr. After maghrib we had dinner and again study after esha till around 3.

On 1st aug, i received the laptop from yasser bhai
on 2nd maryam replied my mail!
I replied her back on 3rd.
